Abstract

Polynomial identities of matrix algebras play a fundamental role in the study of algebraic structures. In this talk, we focus on the classification of group gradings on $M_n(F)$, when $F$ is a finite field, and on the description of the graded polynomial identities satisfied by $M_n(F)$.
